The Governor of Osun State, Adegboyega Oyetola, has said the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress in the 2023 election, Bola Tinubu, will face the threat of insecurity if elected.
Oyetola spoke in Osogbo, the Osun State capital on Tuesday at the inauguration of a campaign team to realize Tinubu’s presidential ambition; A project called ‘Nigeria Bola Ahmed Tinubu’.
Represented by the Special Adviser on Political Affairs, Sunday Akere, the governor said Tinubu had done well in protecting the residents of Lagos State during his reign as governor. He also assured that it will be repeated at the national level.
He said: “He (Tinubu) will face the threat of insecurity when he arrives as president.
“When you look at the history of Lagos State, you will know what he did in terms of security when he took office. He made a remarkable change.”
Speaking earlier, the state coordinator of the group, Mr. George Adedeji, expressed the need for his members to focus their efforts on mobilizing support for Tinubu, especially at the grassroots level.
