Revelers at the 35th edition of the National Arts and Culture Festival (NAFEST) in Lagos on Saturday were enthralled by electrifying performances by Sir Shina Peters and Africa’s Alariwo.

The festival organized by Lagos State is themed “Culture and Peaceful Coexistence”.

The Lagos State Government introduced an entertainment segment to the festival so that revelers can have a bit of Lagos nightlife experience.

Africa’s Alariwo started with spectacular performances that were irresistible to his fans.

He replicated the late Fela Anikulapo-Kuti on stage with his dance styles and timeless educational music.

He performed music by the late Fela, “Water No Get Enemy”, “Palava”, “Teacher Don’t Teach Me Nonsense” and more.

Also, Shina Peters gave some doses of his ‘Shinamania’, ‘Omoge Loke Loke’ and other songs.

Shina Peters sang prophetically that Nigeria would be better as he urged Nigerians to remain peaceful, united and indivisible.

The highlight of the night was when Shina Peters called the fans on stage for a dance competition. Many such fans went home with mobile phones and GoTV decoders.
