A popular comedian, Anita Asuoha aka Real Warri Pikin, has said that people often insinuate that she controls her husband because of the support he gives her. in an interview Saturday Beatssaid: “They say I am controlling Ikechukwu. They should leave my husband for me. Once the marriage is happy, people will say that the husband is a ‘mumu’ (stupid) and the woman is controlling the husband. I hear that often.”

That her husband and children fully support her brand, she said, “My husband and my children support me one hundred percent. If my husband didn’t support me, I wouldn’t have grown up. Seeing that is what makes me happy, he supports me.”

Of those who give her unsolicited advice about her marriage, she said: “If it’s an older person, I’d say ‘thank you’. But, I would go ahead and do what I know best to do. But if they are younger, I can insult them. If a man wants to be a part of his children’s lives, let him. It shouldn’t be the woman’s responsibility alone.”

The comedian, who made a social media post earlier in the week referring to some married women as unmarried mothers, emphasized what he meant. “Many married women are single mothers because they are left to care for their children alone with little or no help from their husbands,” she said.

Offering suggestions on how women can help their husbands, she said: “Women need to stop being enablers. If your husband doesn’t support you with work and child care, or if you support him and stop, especially if you’re both working, you need to communicate that to him. about. Two people are working but only one person comes back to do the work – that’s evil. If you’re a housewife, it’s a completely different situation.”
