    Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde ventures into real estate in America

    Nollywood actress Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde has followed his academic path venturing into the real estate business in Arizona, a state in the United States of America.

    Omosexy, as he is popularly known, studied Real Estate Management at the Yaba College of Technology in Lagos and seems to have chosen to pursue a career in it.

    The actress who is married to pilot Matthew Ekeinde now lives in Los Angeles, California with her three children, Meraiah, Micheal and Mathew Jnr.

    In December 2020, the 44-year-old actor floated Double Doors Studios.

    Located in Lekki Lagos, Double Doors Studio is an all-inclusive, boutique hotel with eight rooms, spacious studio space for any set, a bar and a large terrace.

    It also has a costume/makeup and green room, ultra-modern offices with a conference room, an additional 20-room hotel within walking distance.

    The actor, who owns properties in Lagos, Nigeria, revealed his latest business venture on Sunday when he showed off one of his properties on Instagram.

    “I’ve been working on my property in Arizona, and I’m rushing to LA right now because I have a meeting with the academy.

    “I’m flying in today, and first thing tomorrow morning to finish one of the properties I’m setting up here,” he wrote.

    He took a selfie video of himself inside the property, even though he said he was fighting a cold.

    Real estate journey

    In another Instagram post, he said the property in Glendale, Arizona is the beginning of his real estate journey.

    “Hi insta. Long time no post. As you know, real estate and entertainment is what I do. A little preview. More to come,” she wrote.

    Mrs. Ekeinde has been guided on her journey by a famous American real estate coach named Nikki The Brand.

    Nikki is known to specialize in acquiring properties on Airbnb, an online real estate marketplace that offers short-stay services.

    Background

    Omotola is an alumnus of Yaba College of Technology where he studied Estate Management.

    In 1995 he participated in his first film, ‘Venom of Justice’, at the age of 16. However, it was his role in ‘Mortal Inheritance’ that same year, where he played a sickle cell anemia patient, that brought him to prominence.

    He is the first Nigerian celebrity to have over a million likes on his Facebook page. Today, he has a total of over three million followers on Facebook.

    In 2013, Time magazine included him in the list of 100 most influential people in the world.

    The veteran actor, in 2018, was a member of the Oscar voting Academy, also known as the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

    It was among the 928 records to be accepted into the Academy.

    According to information, the actor wants to enter the American film industry called Hollywood and has also hired the services of a talent agency.
