The The dates for the NPFL-Dozy Mmobuosi Foundation pre-season Super Cup have been adjusted but the venue remains the Mobalaji Stadium, Onika, Lagos, according to the organizers.
The NPFL-Dozy Mmobuosi Foundation pre-season Super Cup tournament organized by Tingo Media was scheduled to start on December 1st and end on December 4th.
However, the Head of Operations of the Nigeria Professional Football League, Davidson Owumi, in a statement explained that the tournament will be held from December 6 to 9.
“We regret to announce a slight change in the schedule for the NPFL-Dozy Mmobuosi Foundation pre-season Super Cup tournament due to unforeseen logistical reasons that arose. However, the venue remains unchanged as the tournament runs from December 6 to 9,” Owumi stated.
The Dozy Mmobuosi Foundation is dangling an unprecedented prize of N100m for the competition by the four traditional NPFL clubs namely Shooting Stars Sports Club, Enugu Rangers, Enyimba and Bendel Insurance.
Individual prizes in the tournament include N1m for the top scorer and the most valuable player of the event.
