Kam-Bu He returns with new single ‘Eton Mess’.
Now, the rapper finds himself using his laser-like aim to hunt down our political villains, using the Establishment right to wreak havoc in a year.
As Cost Of Living nibbles at our heels, ‘Eton Mess’ is a song that most people identify with. Jakwob directs the production, Kam-Bu’s raucous vision driving the message home with genuine abandon.
Taking down the Tories and their septic behavior, the single works as a street advertisement, but also a deft piece of political inquisition. Drawing on the energies behind the excellent ‘Black On Black’ EP, this new single shows another side of Kam-Bu’s lyricism.
Kam-Bu comments…
“I had no intention of writing such a rebellious song, but the beat required a certain level of angst and energy. I think there are underlying thoughts and it was enough. I said how I felt and got the shit out of my chest. The frustration of being young in this country is at an all-time high. I think doing it makes it easier.“
Tune in now.
