The inauguration of the Nigerian Law School’s Port Harcourt campus has been temporarily suspended following a downpour on Friday.
The state-of-the-art facility located at Rumueme axis 4 kilometer in Obio/Akpor local government area by Governor Nyesom Wike led administration was completed in ten months.
As the program that started at 12:00 noon was reaching its peak, the weather changed.
A few minutes later, it rained cats and dogs, forcing Wike and the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, who will inaugurate the project, to run for cover.

However, Governor Wike safely escorted his special guest and other dignitaries to the auditorium of the law faculty campus.
The program is expected to continue in the main hall.
