Nigerian singers, Davido, Burna Boy and Wizkid have removed their verification badges on the microblogging platform, Twitter.
Checks by our correspondent on Thursday showed that their account verification badges had been removed.
This new development may be related to non-payment of verification subscription fee announced by Twitter CEO Elon Musk.
Elon Musk announced that April 20, 2023 would be the last day to remove the blue badge from his verified account for free.
