A budding singer Sugarcane has said that he recently organized a show titled “Show-Town Finest Reloaded” in Oshodi area of Lagos State to thank the people of the community.
In the note sent to Saturday rhythms, said: “There are many reasons why I decided to host the event, one of which was to say ‘thank you’ and give back to the people of this amazing community. The event started from that area, and I want to continue it.
“Organizing the event was an opportunity for me to give people a way to express themselves freely. There are a lot of talented young people in that community, and I always like to give them platforms to showcase themselves.
“The show also serves as a way to bring together the past and present inhabitants, as a way of coming together.”
The event featured entertainers such as Adex of Artquake, Kozy General, Mr Dove, MC Lagos Boi and DJ Bliss.
Also speaking at the event, Olabanji Adelana, the manager of Squad One Bitters, who has been supporting the show since its inception, commended the artiste for his efforts in bringing smiles to the faces of people in the community.
