The 2022 World Cup in Qatar has come and gone. Winners, losers and record breakers have returned to their countries to savor victories or lick their wounds.
Argentina’s captain, Lionel Messi, led his country to victory in the World Cup, their first win in 36 years. Argentina beat France 4-2 on penalties in the most electrifying World Cup final last Sunday.

It is the first tournament in the history of the World Cup to be held in November and December. All the last editions of the tournament were held in May, June or July.
The World Cup could not be held in the summer in Qatar due to the intense heat, so it was moved to the end of the year when the temperature is cooler and more suitable.
Also, Messi’s World Cup post became the most liked photo on Instagram. For Nigeria, music star Davido performed at the World Cup closing ceremony, his first show after the death of his son and it was a big deal for Nigerians around the world.
