Cristiano Ronaldo became the first player to score in five different editions of the World Cup on Thursday as Portugal beat Ghana 3-2 in their Group H match. Qatar 2022 World Cup.
After working for more than an hour in the defense of the Black Stars, Ronaldo helped Portugal to break the game; won a penalty and went to shoot in the 65th minute.
Ronaldo has therefore scored in the 2006, 2010, 2014, 2018 and 2022 editions of the World Cup.
However, Portugal’s lead was short-lived when Ghana captain Andre Ayew scored an equalizer for the Black Stars in the 78th minute to the delight of a cheering crowd at the Ismail Efath Stadium.
