Barely two years since breaking into the mainstream music industry in Nigeria, controversial Afrobeats singer Habeeb Okikiola popularly known as Portable has gained a reputation for always being in trouble.
From getting into fights and threatening his industry colleagues to calling the police, Portable always has something to make headlines.
He recently faced arrest by police after refusing to honor a summons while claiming to be a baboon at the zoo.
In January, Dr. Zeh, as she is also referred to, called her fiance, Keji allegations of infidelity.
The controversial singer alleged that Mrs. Keji, who got engaged in November 2022, is doing doubles even though they are planning the wedding.
In an Instagram post, Portable accused her of living a fake life.
She also shared screenshots of chats between Ms Keji and her alleged lover, whose contact she saved as Bestie Me.
The softer side
However, beyond all his tough guy actions, the ‘Apostoli’ singer lets his softer side slip from time to time.
And the person who cuts all the Portable is his first wife, Bewaji Ewatomi.
As he celebrated his birthday on Wednesday, Portable went all out to make the day a memorable one.
A clip on his Instagram page shows the couple dressed in matching outfits as the singer presents gifts to his first wife, who he calls Mama Zeh.
On a table were various cakes and bundles of money while the trumpeter played music accompanied by talking drums.
“Mama Zeh Lifetime woman,” she captioned the clip.
Earlier, she posted a photo of Ewatomi with the caption, “Mama ZEH Queen ZAzuu Congratulations honey! You’ve turned the sun again and it’s your birthday! Wishing you all the best and a seven course dinner tonight.
“Every once in a while, someone comes into your life, and they turn it upside down in a good way, and you’re my someone! You are my life, and I wish you a happy birthday.” My precious wife… Mother seh.”
Portable women
It is not the first time that the singer has expressed his constant love for his first wife.
Although he accused Ms Keji of infidelity in January, he praised Ms Ewatomi.
The singer posted pictures of herself and a video where Bewaji was all adorable.
“Zazou Wearing unbranded and cheap clothes does not mean you are poor… Remember you have a family to feed, not a community IKA Familia to impress Zeh Vila. @omobewaji_ewatomi_oluwaferanmi Kinimah Queen Mama Zeh. A real woman from day one,” she stated in the video.
On her Instagram Stories, she also posted a picture of herself and Bewaji. He wrote: “Respect who respects you. You are the Queen. My tomorrow”.
In May 2022, Portable, who is also Dr. Zeh, posted a video on Instagram in which he boasted that he would have 12 wives before he turned 40.
The 27-year-old controversial musician boasted that he has six wives despite being under the age of 30.
“I never reach 30; I have six wives and many children. Before I turned 40, my household would number a dozen (12). I’m not even 30, and I’m already six. I want to let you know,” he said in English and Pidgin.
Actually, Portable has four sons from three women.
