The Atiku-Okowa campaign organization has criticized the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate Asiwaju Bola Tinubu for trying to blackmail Major General Muhammadu Buhari, while also blaming the APC-led Federal Government for his “blame”. the rejection of Nigerians.’

The campaign also said it found it unfortunate that Tinubu was looking for a face-saving measure ahead of his “shedding crocodile tears before the crushing electoral defeat” and the redesign of the naira notes and the fuel crisis under the APC administration, he said. There were allegedly plans to suppress the 2023 general elections.

Campaign spokesperson Kola Ologbondiyan, while speaking at a rally in Abuja on Wednesday, stated, “It is unfortunate that Asiwaju Tinubu is trying to mislead Nigerians, trying to exonerate himself and blame others in the Buhari-led APC administration for biting the fuel shortage in the country, in reality he (Asiwaju Tinubu) is known to be behind the insensitive and anti-people policies that have brought so much disaster to our country, including the current persistent fuel scarcity.

“Indeed, it speaks volumes about the character of Asiwaju Tinubu, who despite being reported to be heavily involved in the corruption in the oil sector, which led to the fuel crisis, because he only cares about the pains Nigerians are going through. It was beginning to affect his political life ambition.”

Ologbondiyan stated, “It is clear that Asiwaju Tinubu is lamenting the naira redesign because politics has thwarted his slush funds, which he allegedly stashed in secret vaults, for vote-buying and alleged manipulation schemes including funding. He was bent on jeopardizing the integrity of the 2023 presidential election through the military.”

Politicians who have always won elections to redesign the naira have been confused with the monetary policy of the Central Bank of Nigeria to redesign the naira politicians who have won elections relying on the bullion van.

He noted, “What is more reprehensible is that few months after the end of the Buhari administration, Asiwaju Tinubu is now struggling to distance himself from an administration which he told the world that he took office only because he wanted to deceive Nigerians into taking their votes.

The spokesperson asked: “How can Asiwaju Tinubu accuse an administration he has been in since 2015 of anything but trying to sabotage the 2023 elections if he is making revelations to Nigerians about their plans?”

He went on to state that it was imperative to state that Nigerians, who are patriots who were willing to travel the distance to vote, were exposed to the pains imposed by the Tinubu government.

He advised the APC presidential candidate that he should know that “Nigerians can see through his antics and deceptions and his amusing theatrics over fuel and new naira notes cannot affect Nigerians at this time.

He added: “In any case, from Asiwaju Tinubu’s lament songs, it is clear that his ambition for presidential life has collapsed.

The campaign also advised the APC presidential flag bearer to withdraw from the race against Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, following his resounding defeat.
