American star gymnast Simone Biles has officially tied the knot with athlete and lover Jonathan Owens.
The couple made this known by sharing pictures from their private event on Saturday via their social media accounts.
Biles wore a layered, strappy white wedding dress, while her husband wore a tan suit as they exchanged vows in a courtroom.
“I 🤍. Officially Owens,” he wrote. “I’ve never known love so deep @jowens.”
The American football player also took to his Instagram page and shared photos from the event.
“My person, forever ❤💍. #TheOwens #ItsOfficial,” she captioned the post.
Biles told the Wall Street Journal that the lovebirds met in March 2020 through a Raya dating app. They began spending time together during the Covid-19 lockdown, which meant a less demanding schedule as athletes.
They went public with their relationship in August 2020 after the gymnast posted a photo of herself cozying up to Owens. On Valentine’s Day 2022, the couple announced that they were officially married.
