Former government candidate All Progressive Grand Alliance in the year Enugu State he has been found dead during the just concluded 2023 general elections.
The deceased, Dons Ude, was declared missing last Saturday.
Mr. Ude was reportedly found dead at Ninth Mile Corner in Udi Local Government Area of Enugu State, South East Nigeria.
His vehicle was also reported to have been recovered.
Sudden disappearance
Before he went missing, Mr. Ude reportedly did not answer calls to his phone line, leading to fears he may have been abducted.

Sources said his phone was found next to the wall of the Ogui police station. This created more fear that he might be in trouble.
The wife, who was trying to contact her husband by phone, was later informed that the phone had been found.

The distraught wife reported to the station where she told that she could not reach her husband on the phone.
It is not clear, for now, if the politician was the victim of the kidnapping, the sources said.
The Enugu State Police spokesman, Daniel Ndukwe, confirmed the death of the politician in a statement on Wednesday night.
Mr Ndukwe, the Deputy Superintendent of Police, said the decomposing body of the victim was found in a bush along the Ninth Mile Bypass around 11pm on Tuesday.
The police spokesman also confirmed that the victim had been missing since he left his residence in Enugu metropolis on Saturday for an undisclosed location in a white Toyota Highlander SUV.
“All efforts to trace his whereabouts failed until his remains were found on the said date and place, while the vehicle was later abandoned and recovered at 10am today, April 26, at Ngwon in Udi Local Government Area,” he said. .
Mr Ndukwe said there were signs of violence on the victim’s body which, according to him, “suggests that she was murdered”.

According to him, the victim’s body was taken to a mortuary for preservation and medical autopsy after a doctor confirmed his death at a hospital.
The Commissioner of Police in Enugu State, Ahmed Ammani, has ordered police operatives from the State Criminal Investigation Department and the Homicide Squad of the Tactical Squad to investigate the killing of the victim, Mr. Ndukwe.
Mr Ammani asked the operatives to join forces in the investigation to find the killers “in the shortest possible time”.
Increase attacks
Like other states in southeastern Nigeria, security has deteriorated in Enugu State with frequent attacks by armed men.
Attacks often target security agencies, government officials, and facilities.
