The cast and crew of the new movie titled “Hotel Labamba” attended the media screening held at Ebonylife Place, Victoria Island, Lagos on Thursday, April 27, 2023.
The film, made by famous filmmakers – Biodun Stephen and Laide Daramola – revolves around the mysterious murder of a popular Instagram influencer.
Some of the cast members at the show were Lilian Afegbai, Etinosa Idemudia, Bolaji Ogunmola, Kachi Nnochiri, Tomiwa Sage, Tracey George and one. BBNaija season four housemate, Sir Dee.
The film features elaborate set designs, investigative scenes, and compelling dialogue, balanced by an exciting comedy and storytelling foundation. Other actors in the movie include Lateef Adedimeji, Bimbo Ademoye, Blessing Obasi and Femi Adebayo.
At the event, the film’s executive producer, Laide Daramola, said that the actors were chosen for each role. He added, “It was a beautiful thing to watch them evolve and redesign each role to fit the look and feel of the film.”
For his part, Biodun Stephen said: “My experiences shape the story of my films, which is what makes them so relatable and exciting to watch. The story of ‘Hotel Labamba’ started from a conversation with a friend about slay queens and ‘Yahoo boys’, and I’m happy to be a part of this film.”
