A 40-meter container fell into vehicles traveling along the Oshodi-Apapa Expressway at Cele Bus Stop, Lagos State, killing many passengers.
PUNCH reports that one driver of one of the popular commercial buses was immediately confirmed dead, while the other two managed to escape.
Meanwhile, the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority while confirming the incident on Thursday evening said the accident occurred on the main road at PM Petrol Station towards Cele express.
“A 40 meter container was involved in the commercial bus.
“Policemen of the Ilasa division are on the ground doing the needful and are also making efforts to recover,” the agency wrote on its official Facebook page.
