The Federal High Court sitting in Kano on Thursday confirmed Mohammad Sani Abacha as the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Kano State.
In his ruling on Thursday afternoon, Chief Justice AM Liman annulled the primary election of the party that produced Sadik Amunu Wali as the Kano PDP governorship candidate and ordered INEC to remove the name of Muhammad Sani Abacha.
The verdict, which was almost delivered, was scheduled for 12:00 noon on Thursday, but was later postponed to 4:00 pm.
The court accepted all of the plaintiff’s pleas.
