An actor and filmmaker Omotola Adebayo has revealed that his soon to be released movie, ‘Irawo Nla’ is based on a true life story.
In an interview about the film Saturday rhythms, He said, “The film is based on a true life story. It really happened. We have added some suspense to make it more exciting.
“Osunlewa revolves around the mysterious birth of a girl child who is a powerful goddess.”
Adebayo also stated that it took him nine years to produce another film after his last one in 2014 because he wanted to get it right. He said: “I’ve been busy working on my brand. Making a quality production takes a lot of time and creativity, and I don’t produce just to produce the kick. I have to make sure everything goes well because I don’t take my fans for granted.”
On the lessons people would take from the film, he said: “People will learn to be content with what they have, and avoid giving room to envy, which usually leads to hatred and unhealthy competition.”
Actors featured in the movie include Bimbo Oshin, Jumoke Odetola, Joseph Momodu, Afeez Eniola, Bukola Adeeyo and Mustapha Sholagbade; while Bolaji was directed by Oscar.
