A former wife of the Ooni of Ife, Queen Naomi Ogunwusi, has said she entered the palace too innocently.
Queen Naomi announced her separation from Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi Ojaja II in December 2021.
The separation was met with surprise, as many did not know that the couple was having problems.
However, the Ondo State indigene had a son for the king before he left the palace.
Speaking to our correspondent on Wednesday, Queen Naomi said her time with the Ooni was a bittersweet experience.
He said: “I hesitate to talk about my experiences at the palace. But in my usual way of speaking, it was a bittersweet experience. I won’t share the details, but it was a bittersweet experience. There were sweet moments and bittersweet moments. It’s not time to talk about it yet because some things are meant for you to teach yourself.I believe that the messages are only for me at this time, when God wants to enlarge and expand and become a message to the whole world, then I will listen to his words and speak.
“The lessons are personal and have helped shape me. I’m enjoying 30 a lot; 30 makes me very strong. I am too innocent; I think I came into the palace too innocent and soft, but life is not like that, you have to be strong, brave and courageous.’
