Governor Muhammadu Yahaya of Gombe State has disclosed that no fewer than 27 cases of kidnapping are reported in the state every month.
Yahaya disclosed this on Wednesday at the Mai Tangle Palace in Billiri Local Government Area, where he visited the APC Campaign train to gather votes.
The governor expressed sadness over the security issues in Billiri, calling on the people of the local government to “be security conscious and also be our brother’s keeper to collectively fight insecurity, especially kidnappers, where the state has recorded almost 27 cases of kidnapping”. monthly”.

In his re-election bid, the governor assured the people that the APC administration would consolidate development projects delivered in Billirin and other parts of the state.
