Music star, Ayo Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, expressed his support for his colleague Davido at his just concluded concert in New York.
Fans went wild when Davido’s first hit, “Dami Duro” was performed at the sold-out event at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday.
During the show, DJ Tunez who played the song gave a shout out to Davido who is currently mourning the death of his son Ifeanyi Adeleke.
In the videos making rounds on the internet, the DJ said: “Davido we love you, OBO, we love you. I see you Davido. This is for OBO”.
As The PUNCH earlier reported, Ifeanyi, Davido’s first son with his fiancee, Chioma Rowland, drowned in a swimming pool in the singer’s Banana Island, Lagos State.
Since the horrific incident at the end of October, none of the parents have made any public comments.
Davido, however, has canceled the Are We African Yet (AWAY) concert scheduled for November 2022.
The event has been rescheduled for November 2023.
