Was acting your childhood fantasy?
Yes, as a little girl I always called my friends to act, play and dance. My mom told me that I loved getting my friends together for these activities all the time. That made him realize that I was going to be an actor.
What were you doing before you became famous?
I was a banker, but I wasn’t happy. Every day, I felt like I wasn’t living my dream, so I signed off.
At what point in your life did you settle on acting as a career?
I had to fulfill my dream of becoming an actor when I realized that I was not happy or fulfilled as a banker. I gave up being a banker to become an actor. I’ve been acting for about eight years now and it’s been satisfying.
Which movie brought you to prominence?
There were two movies; ‘The Ring’ and ‘Drop Of Tears’
How did you feel the first time you appeared in a movie?
I felt very excited; it was a terrible experience. There were many challenges but you have to be strong and believe in yourself to overcome them.
Has fame changed you or taken anything away from you?
Well, I’ll say a little. I am still a very loyal and loving person. But now I can’t meet people like I used to know before. Fame has taken away my freedom to freely get what I want in a market.
What inspires you as an actor, especially when you’re acting out a script?
I am inspired by the things that are happening around me. I am also inspired by my daily experiences with people.
How do you handle advances from male fans?
I handle it as calmly as possible. However, if they don’t understand my calm gesture, I bring them to my face and make them stop.
What advice do you have for upcoming actors?
My advice to upcoming actors is to be patient. Don’t be in a hurry or give up. Take it step by step. Everything will happen eventually, you just have to pay attention and pray.
