Singer Sarah Aderibigbe, aka Ayra Starr, will miss her shows in several cities in the United States due to ill health.
In a statement on her Instagram story on Sunday night, the singer revealed that her doctor immediately put her to bed.
He also apologized to his followers for not being able to attend the highly anticipated show.
The Mavin star, however, promised that he will “come back in a special way” for his fans as he thanked them for their prayers.
The statement read: “DC, VA and Houston your girl is passing. My doctor advised me to slow down so I am in bed immediately.
“I’m sorry I couldn’t meet each of you as planned. I’m also sorry that you feel uncomfortable but I promise that I will come back in a special way when we have a magical time for you.
“I appreciate your prayers and well wishes #styvesdc #somethinginthewater #industryniteusa.”
Ayra Starr is billed to headline Sunday night’s Industry Night Show in Houston.
He was also asked to perform at the Something In The Water Concert in Virginia City along with ASAP Rocky, Busta Rhymes and other major stars.
