Nollywood actor, Hank Anuku, has rubbished viral rumors about his mental health.
Videos of a man, believed to be Anuku, wandering the streets with his clothes in tatters surfaced on Monday, sparking rumors that he was mentally ill.
While his co-star, Shan George, dismissed the claims in a video posted on his Instagram page, another actor, Adanma Luke, insisted that the actor was struggling with his mental health.
In an Instagram post shared on Monday, Luke called on the Nollywood community to stop “covering up” and seek support for the actress.
However, in a video shared via her Instagram stories on Friday, Anuku blasted those who are peddling fake news about her mental health.
According to him, the said video that sparked the rumors was taken while on a movie set.
He said, “Tell those mothers who wrote crap about me to stop writing crap about me and leave me alone. If they want to act in a movie or need help, they can come to me.
“I’ve been on the set and anyone writing, using those pictures of me on set to try to destroy my image, may the Holy Spirit forgive me.”
